Mommy, how long do I weigh? (stretching out on the floor) You are soooo long. How did that happen? Umm... I started from a baby and I growed up this tall! Mom? (in deep thought) Yessss? I growed into a young man...
We spent the weekend with friends and fam in Paso Robles, swimming...
Riding ponies...
Tractor-driving...
Playing with friends...
And running! I got broke my time from last year at the Wine Country Half Marathon Run, yippeee! 1 hour and 47 mins! Pushing that double stroller is GOOD training ;)
The kids and I had the best time visiting The Argenals this past weekend!!! With Tim off to watch March Madness basketball games in Portland, we decided to have an adventure of our own to the state capital. First off? A 4:45am wake-up call to catch our flight! Cockledoodledoo!!!!!
Luckily The D's were all smiles and truly excited for our trip! Upon arrival it was all fun and trains and outtings and hospitality galore at Hannah and Gus's new house. The kids played their hearts out and I was in heaven visting with Han!
Thank you Hannah and crew for THE BEST trip! We love you guys!
The Strutt side of the family (Snappy's side) got together for a family reunion lunch and how fun that Davis and I got a date! The Fun Zone afterwards with Davis's closest cuzzies was, well, FUN :)
Pop got Davis a Strider balance bike and after practicing his brains out, it was time to transistion to a big-kid, pedal bike! There was no hesitation - After 10 minutes Davis had his "big boy bike" mastered and we owe it all to that amazing Strider bike - Davis is a full-blown biker!
Tour guide Tim transported the troops to Torrey Pines for a terribly terrific trek! Grandma Nonna joined us for some truly GORGEOUS views of the coast... And Dylann ran her legs off while Davis was oh-so curious about the flora and fauna ;)
