Moms On Bikes

Time with my Mom is always adventure, never dull and full of laughs... So why not add to the ecstacy and pedal to lunch for Mother's Day? Of course once this seed was planted, we had to make it grow - So up the river channel from Doheny to San Juan Capistrano we biked and Barb led the way!

To my mom, you are one fabulous Snappy, one awesome friend and a solid example of what a momma should be. No wonder we all ask to sleep over every week ;) We ALL love you!

And how could you not? Look at that smile!

Dyllie Does Disney

To get silly on Dyllie's actual birthday, we dove into a day at Disneyland with some of her favorite characters!

Grand-Mother's Day

Mother's Day morning was a special one because we had TWO grandmother's in the house: Nonna and Gramma Kate! Chef Tim and Chef HoHo whipped up a delicious brunch and we were spoiled with good food and lots of grandma hugs!

Davis and Dylann love Nonna because she is patient, playful and a jokester. She always brings a special treat (marshmallows...) and loves to cook their favorite food... Rice! She likes to snuggle and never shys away from the dirty work! Davis says his favorite thing to do with Nonna is "watch movies" and "when she calls me a rascal!"

Davis and Dylann love Gramma Kate because she is fun, spirited and full of energy! She never turns down an opportunity to play or teach a new game. Gramma Kate stops whatever she is doing to enjoy the moment! Davis says his favorite thing to do with Gramma Kate is "making apple juice" and "visiting her at the ranch."

Mother's Day by Davis

Davis brought home a gift and card from preschool one day, but I was under strict orders NOT to open it till Mother’s Day… No peeking! he kept saying...

When I did open it, I LOVED the hand-made magnet inside!

But.... most of all I loved the poem he learned at school, which he recited numerous times over the weekend:

Mother my darling, mother my dear, I love you every day of the year!

Being a mom is the best job when you get paid in poems!

Dyllie-Doo is TWO!

I honestly don't know who hit fast-forward on life, but I feel like it was last week that our gorgeous gal was born? Well, this little 2 year old's birthday party slapped me into reality! Here she is, in all her birthday glory, a true party princess who had more fun than anyone!
