And though he was cautious to jump right on, it took Davis just 2 short days to make this two-wheeler his most loved companion.
Case in point? "Workin' on my bike Mama" - Yes, this is what he said to me as he dug into the drawer, confidently grasping out the screwdriver and measuring tape (which he pronounced perfectly!). Then promptly went to "work" on his bike for 20 mins, looking just like my Dad who is known for fixing everything for our entire family!
I could not be happier... Davis is learning to FIX things and I am so relieved - Maybe he'll be able to mend the items around here so my retired Dad does not have to work as handyman 5 days a week!
Pop knew this gift would bring Davis glee - The Skipper/Barnacle Bill connection strikes again!
