Maid service, a kitchenette, a heated swimming pool and kids park PLUS an espresso bar? If this sounds like your type of camping, then get your booty to El Capitan Canyon! Kate and I took the kids with 8 others moms and 20 other children and I'm not gonna lie, NOBODY wanted to leave!!!

We ended the trip in true glam-style: At Grammy Pat's Santa Barbara home for dinner, hot chocolate and some rest.... In her bed!

Thanks for the FABULOUS trip Kate, Kyle and Emmi! We will GLAMp with you three any day!

Swim Fan

While Davis and Emmi have been playing their brains out in Summer School, Dylann has been swimming her brains out at the pool. She truly is "swimming" now and can hold her breath FOREVER! Though she needs a helping hand in the water, she can navigate the pool and swim through the rings in class - Go girl!

One of the BEST parts of swim lessons right now? Kyle came to cheer on her mini cuz! Love no school in the Summer!

Del Mar Fair

Foot-long corn dogs, rollercoasters, games, grub and good friends... The Del Mar Fair was definitely a highlight of the Summer so far!

Brave Dyllie hit the height requirement for most rides... 36 inches! Her first choice? This crazy whip-lashing rollercoaster. I had anxiety the whole time!!! But of course she survived and wanted more ;)

 

After our 4th dinner of fair fare and when both kids won a stuffed animal, we called it a night. Cotton candy at 10pm? Yep, it's definitely summer.
