We were over the moon to have Hannah and Bo under our roof the last 3 nights! Davis had a sidekick to drag EVERYWHERE... Even the bathtub!


And Dylann had extra lips to kiss her!

We walked the beach trail, parked it up, went to the movies, navigated the mall, got Bo's haircut and crammed into a photo booth after a giant adventure to The Wild Animal Park...

More! More! More!

The celebrating continued Christmas night when the Franklins hosted us for more presents! More feasting! More fun! Kate whipped up a mean lasagna and the kids put their new toys to practice - And check out the doctor! Adam yet again busted out the plaid-apalooza - What a holiday!!!

Christmas Morning

Well, Santa came. And the kids must have been extra nice because he was very generous! Davis finally got the gifts he had been waiting so patiently for - "A truck and a remote control car" were his constant requests! Oh Lightening McQueen, you bring this kid so much joy...




And while Dylann got plenty of loot of her own, she preferred to check out her brother's gift bounty... A la Cranky the Crane.

Mad for Plaid!

This Christmas Eve we were MAD for PLAID! and look! The kids actually do look mad in the photo!

Ho ho host and hostess Pop and Snappy prodded guests to paint the town plaid! Cocktails, food, family and friends...














This party is a tradition that never disappoints. These two are the official Christmas Eve King and Queen - They have hosted this night for decades, seriously decades!


This year topped them all with a surprise visit from Santa, with a plaid sack! Grandpa Ho Ho donned The Suit, passing out gifts to the kids, and a few adults ;)



We partied till my kids were plaid-eyed, pooped and just plain crazy! Time to shut it down and get ready for the big guy to shimmy down the chimney!

It was some Christmas.
I'm working on a full recap and getting ready for houseguests, but in the meantime this photo pretty much captures the spirit of Christmas!

EVEn Better!

The excitement is contagious over here... Grandpa Ho Ho's in town and tonight we are partying in plaid at Pop and Snappy's annual Eve extrazaganza! Plus... The Big Guy is coming down the chimney tonight and Davis is PUMPED! This might be the most anticipated Christmas Eve since Tim and I were toddlers!

These two tub-dwellers think it's really funny to kick and splash in MY bathroom till the walls are dripping. But how can I get angry? A little water and these faces? I'll take happy, splashing ducks any day!

Baby's 1st Christmas

This little candy cane can't wait for her 1st Christmas! The reason I know this? Because each fabulous gift she receives will be wrapped in paper and bows and tissue, oh my! Lots to grabby grab grab and explore come Christmas day, which is exactly how our girl likes to play ;)
